Product Overview
Ring main units are compact MV switchgear assemblies used in 10 kV and 12 kV ring and terminal cable networks. They combine load break switches, fuse protection and vacuum circuit breakers in a compact enclosure, allowing safe switching and protection of distribution feeders. This makes them a practical choice for utility networks, commercial developments, residential power supply and renewable connection projects.
Haiyue supplies HXGN15-12, HYXGN-12 and HYGIS-12 configurations with different switching and protection arrangements. As a ring main unit exporter, we provide load break switch and VCB options, custom cable entry, metering and protection schemes according to the project drawing.
Each ring main unit is factory assembled, wired and tested before shipment. We provide drawings, test reports, export packaging and commissioning support for overseas projects.

Load break switch units are normally used for switching and fuse protection of transformers and simple feeders. VCB ring main units provide higher short-circuit breaking capacity and are preferred where increased protection performance is required.
